Now there's a surprise

There's a report sales of the PS3 have dropped 82 per cent following it's release last week.

I know it's been said before but it's clear the drop is due to the following reason:

£425?!

Wake me up when it's less than £300 then I'll think about it.

Agreed, the PS3 is a bit overpriced, the question is, is it worth it for all the great games that will be realeased on it.

True. But GTAIV is no longer an exclusive, nor is PES6, Assassin's Creed...Although, I remember SNES Street Fighter II (in the metal tin!) being like £70 when that came out and my Amiga 500 cost £400 with 512mb of memory and no HD.

Out of three the PS3 would be my pick but just seeing those numbers scares me so much.

Oh, hell yeah. They just take the US price, scrub out the dollar sign and put a pound there instead. It has be noticed that a few places have already started selling the console at £400.

The bundle prices are ridiculous, somewhere north of £600. And they ripped out all the hardware backwards compatibillity out of the euro PS3 to "cut costs" which has cut down the amount of PS2 games you can play.

Rubbish.
