How convinient

Not to sound cynical or anything but The Beatles settling their court action with Apple* after, like, 20 odd years which means their songs will most likeley appear on iTunes in the near future which will no doubt sell like hot cakes in a Fat Camp not even six months after Sir Paul's marriage splits and he might face a large divorce pay out?

Hmmm.

Wow? Chance Would Be a Fine Thing

Starters: my laptop is old. It's Sony circa 2001. Let me just say the following words:

-Celeron
-CDROM drive
-Windows ME

So I need a new laptop. But I can put up with it as it is as PC Gaming I don't bother with anymore (too much hassle with all those 3D cards and such) and all I really need or want to do it can run fine.

But that last issue, Windows ME, is causing me some serious pain right about now. Because seemingly every new program wants XP as a minimum; I can't watch the latest QT trailers or use iTunes, I can't install the newest ZoneAlarm, that free Office 2007 offer? XP only.

And all that I could deal with but now I find out that Google Toolbar, Google Toolbar for Heaven's sake, won't install as I don't currently run XP! If I can install Firefox2 why can't I install Google Toolbar?

Grrr.

Free? Free?!

Microsoft have released Microsoft Office for free? All right, it's only for 60 days but lets be honest how hard is going to be to find a hack for it and have it for free?

Now that I condone that sort of behaviour. Not for one second.

Oh, what the hell, yes I do. Free copies of Office for all!

Genius

What more can you say.

Storage Maximus

I am finding this to be very useful at the moment. At least, I would be if my sucky broadband provider would get my connection switched on. Anyway, you get 25gb of online storage space for free which will be soon full of as much music as I can lay my hands on.
